I thought it would be best to post updates about my Christmas comping challenge on here, rather than Futures as it is much more suited to the money side of things.
So how am I doing? No giftcard or money wins to report just yet but I have won a kids DVD, some chocolate and a family ticket to my local cinema. Obviously the chocolate and family ticket will expire before Christmas, however the kids DVD will make a nice stocking filler for Jack come Christmas Day.
I haven’t had much luck with survey sites either recently – however, I have just withdrawn £5 from Swagbucks and hope to withdraw over £10 from Viewsbank at the end of the month. I am also (impatiently) waiting for my Sky cashback to finally be available for withdrawal – that will make a nice starter to the Christmas fund! I am also waiting for my Music Magpie cheque…hope it doesn’t take too long!
I am falling behind miserably with my £1 savings pot and my roadkill savings but I am storming ahead with my 20p savings pot – I have almost £5 in there so far!
My plans for this week are to do as much work as possible then leave some time free for comping and surveys – plus sell a few things on Ebay and Facebook. What are your plans?
