I really do love a good money making challenge. I definitely need some form of structure behind working on my side hustles and money making challenges seem to help me quite a bit. I recently found Emma’s thread over on The Money Shed and thought it would be a great idea to give it a go. I’ve had a lack of motivation recently when it comes to blogging and work in general – not helped by the fact that my computer was having all manners of problems – so this came along at just the right time.
I signed up to the challenge on the 16th of April – so this was 2 weeks and 3 days ago at the time of writing this. So far, I have made £594.97 from a mixture of survey money, selling old stuff, odd jobs on my PeoplePerHour account and some blog work!
I find these money making challenges really helpful in motivating me to get more done and get working harder – at both my job, my blogs and my side hustles. If I continue like this, getting rid of debt should be a lot easier. I’ve learned that all I need is some support and some people doing the same thing to keep me on the right track.
